- Can I use Geothermal or Air source heat pumps with my existing radiators?
- These products are particularly beneficial at lower flow temperatures and ideally are suited to under floor heating. However there are radiators on the market with low water content and high outputs to achieve the ambient room temperatures required.
- I would like a geothermal heat pump but to heat the property I require a 14kw heat pump. This is only manufactured via a 3 phase supply, which I do not have, can I install a smaller heat pump with another heat source as a back-up source?
- Yes linking systems is always a good idea as you leave yourself with continuous options and never suffer according to weather extremes. Although if you do install a heat pump lower than the full load required of the property, then you will not be eligible for the RHI .
- I have an unvented hot water cylinder and I have noticed that my hot water pressure is not what it was a few months ago, can you help?
- Most clients do not realise that the unvented hot water cylinders require an annual service. This would ensure the components are cleaned and checked on the incoming cold. Also this would entail recharging the cylinder expansion vessel to ensure no pressure loss.
